I’ve been really busy on my day off: adding the Zelda scarves to Etsy, putting my new grill together, and now I started piecing this quilt! I love it! It’s so saturated and lively! Now I’m going to add a smokey lavender sashing to it, and add some pink ruffles around the edge! Hopefully I will have it done by the end of the week! Wish me luck!
I know I haven’t posted lately, but you have to cut me some slack as I just started a new job! I love my new job! So much more freedom! And a little more money to boot! However, when I come home, I am wiped, and all I want to do is sleep! I’ve been trying to get better at staying up and working, and I finally finished this commission, and it was only a week late! The blue dragonfly fabric for the background is one of my favorites!

Embroidery has been my main focus as of late, so I needed to take a break from my embroidery machine and pound out a new quilt top. I’m really digging it! No pattern, just playing with fabric scraps and having a blast! Wish me luck!
I’ve been talking about it for a while, and it is finally here! I have now made a Minecraft quilt, the pattern, and I even have enough fabric left over to make some kits for it. Both Queen sized and Throw sized! I feel so accomplished! I’m not going to lie though, I wrote this last night, and scheduled the post for today. It’s about 3am right now, and I’m streaming Grace and Frankie on Netflix, while updating my Etsy shop with these new and exciting items!
I just love the greens in this quilt! Everyone, who has seen my Zelda quilts, knows how much I love green fabric, and this is quite the quilt to show it off. I think I did a darn good job picking out greens that blend and add a nice texture to the background. I also opted for a not solid black to add a little more depth to the center of the quilt! What do you think?

This was a couple months in the making, but I finally got it pieced. I have to quilt it this weekend, and I’m still deciding on how to do so. I have a bunch of these green fabrics, so I think I’ll be making some kits to sell. Wish me luck!
In case anyone thought I was slipping on my commissions… I’ve just been a sewing fool this weekend. Between my Alice in The Garden of Eden quilt, and binding a Zelda throw quilt, I have been quite the busy little sewer. I do have a little surprise for everyone later, so stay tuned!

Busy, Busy, Busy, I’ve been very busy. I currently have the embroidery machine running some Zelda Towels that I have to mail out tomorrow. Then another embroidery project for tomorrow. It is that time of the season, and there is no rest for the wicked. This quilt is for a friend’s Grandmother, and I just hope she loves it. I added some blooming bias to the rail fence blocks, so when she washes it she’ll be in for a surprise. What do you all think?

It was my first nickel quilt, and I just love it! Some of the colors repeated a bit more than I would have liked, but I think it turned out grand! No I just have to baste and quilt it, and then make the matching pillow shams. I’m thinking I’m going to do some 2″ squares for the pillow shams… I think… That might change… Wish me luck!
I’m at home. I’m sick. It’s gloomy out… I guess all I can do is quilt! I’m not complaining… Well, maybe a little complaining about being sick, but that’s it. I have this quilt to make for a friend of mine. She’s just so in love with what I have made so far! I can;t wait to finish it! I still have to fade it to red, then pink, then purple, then blue, and make some matching pillow shams, but that’s a walk in the park. The hard part, which is coming up, is making the binding… Well, not so much making it, but picking out a color… Any suggestions?
