More Framed Art

I forgot to post pictures of these before Comic Con, but here they are! About half of what I made sold, so I’m in a pretty good mood! And soon, you’ll be able to find some of my work at a local shop! I’ll keep you posted!

NWI Comic-Con Was A Blast!

So much fun today! My feet are killing me, and I’m tired as can be, but it is a good kind of tired! MY friends came to visit, my other friend worked the booth with me, and she let me dress her up like Harley Quinn! Gave out so many business cards! Met so many interesting people! I was amazing! Next year, I think I’ll have to get 2 tables though! My one table was kind of busy… I sold quite a bit of stuff, and now I can work on my next big venue… Not sure what that is yet, but we’ll figure it out!

Wish me luck!

Listening To Alanis Morissette’s Ironic…

brotherPE770e

It’s a black fly, in your chardonnay. It’s like an embroidery machine, with no embroidery hoop! Isn’t it ironic… Don’t you think?

I got another one of these in the mail today, and I unpack it and low and behold, there is no hoop with this machine! UGH! I only have one hop for the my other PE770, and I have another hoop on order, but it looks like I’ll just have to let it sit on my table while I wait for it to arrive. Oh well, I could have used it to make more towels for NWI Comic Con this weekend, but I think I’ll survive.

Wish me luck!

NWI Comic-Con Is Less Than A Week Away

I’ve been working on my framed embroidery because it doesn’t take a terrible amount of effort, just time. I’m even running out of time! I still have to embroider on my table cloth, but that will be last minute! I picked up about 50 picture frames today, so I can cut and set these later this week! So many more towels to make, and so many more pillow cases as well. I can do it! I believe in myself! I think….

Wish me luck!

PS… Which Midna do you like the best?

The Push For NWI Comic-Con

I’ve been sweating up an embroidery storm! I ran into a little trouble with my tension at one point, but that is resolved! So far I have Totoro, Doctor Who, and Zelda. I would be more than welcome other suggestions. I really want to do some Harley Quinn, and Superman pictures as well. I only have one embroidery machine so one at a time! Wish me luck!
