Quilters, Nerds, Geeks, and Sewers: I need some help choosing. I cannot decide whether to go with blue or gold. What do you guys and gals think?

Final Fantasy Quilt: Next Block Cut
Since I finished the last block, I’ve been pretty motivated to keep going, so I started the next block. I already had the background left over from the last block I did where I switched the background to green to balance it out more. I went with a purple and blue batik for the cape, and then some or orange tonal and a yellow/green/pink batik for the hat. I decided to do green eyes and hand vs orange, because I did orange for the hat. I think he looks cute! Only one more block after this!

Final Fantasy Quilt: Black Mage Number 2
Since I finished getting all of the pieces cut for that Vikings’ Quilt and I am now just waiting on fabric, I have moved onto another project. It is my Black Mage Pop Art piece. I redid the background on this one, and I’m piecing it now! I love the way he looks! After this one, I still have either 2 or 4 more to go, and I cannot wait to see the way it looks when it all comes together!

Vikings Quilt: It’s Coming Along
Vikings Quilt: First Blocks Are Done
I just finished the first blocks of the quilt, and I’m glad I added the tonal fabric to just kind of mix things up. I have 72 blocks to make, so I’m 3 down and 69 to go. I’m still waiting on a second Viking’s themed fabric to help mix things up. It has the actual Viking’s head instead of the helmet. I feel so Minnesotan right now!
Vikings Quilt: It Has Begun!
So, everyone knows I’m a big bright shiny star, and now that I have finished one quilt today, I have to start the next one! It’s going to be a Minnesota Viking’s themed quilt and it makes me feel like I am back in Minnesota! I cannot wait to start cutting tonight! If you want one yourself, here is the listing for a Throw Size on Etsy!
Equality Quilt: It’s Done!
It’s all done! I just have to wash it! I’m so excited to mail it out! I ended up going with a batik binding that is florescent green, yellow, and pink. I love the way it turned out! I cannot wait to throw it in the washer, and then the dryer. Quilts always look so much better once washed! I cannot wait for the buyer to get it! I know he will love it!
Equality Quilt: Quilting Is Done, Now The Binding!
Hello world! After taking yesterday off because I hurt my back, and couldn’t really sew, i am a little behind. Thank goodness my manic stage kicked in a bit. I finished the quilting on this gorgeous quilt! I just have to bind it now! Then wash it, and then I start my next quilt project! I’m not sure what I am going to do for a binding yet, but I cannot wait to dig through some fabric and find something that makes it pop! Part of me wants to do grey, but I think a fun multicolored batik could do wonders here, so we will see! Wish me luck!
