I was contacted on my Etsy shop about designing a tetris quilt and it is funny because I was already working on a design for one anyways. I cannot wait to get the okay to make it! I’m really excited!

I’ve been watching a lot of Doctor Who recently, and I feel like Amy Pond and I could have been good friends! Speaking of Ponds, I’m going to be quilting the Pond Quilt for my old neighbor. She was the one who hemmed my communion pants when I was in second grade, and I cannot wait to finish it and give it to her for Christmas! Hopefully I’ll finish the quilting today! It’s only a 75″ by 55″ throw, so I might even get around to the binding today! Wish me luck!
It took me over a year, but I finally did it! I finished the quilt, and it looks wonderful! I even adding some blue stitching to help balance the binding against the brown border! I just have to tie a few knots and then I am done! I hope everyone likes it! Hell, I don;t care if everyone likes it, I hope she likes it!

In the wee hours of morning I arose from my work bench triumphant! I finished the quilt and put the binding on it! I love it! I’m sad it is just a small sampler quilt for the craft shows I am going to be in, but I like it anyways! The quilting technique changes in almost every block just to show people what I can do, and how I can work with designs! It was my first stab at free motion quilting, and I liked the way it turned out! I hope everyone else likes it too! I was going to post it this morning, but I over slept and was almost late for work. Whoops!

It was made some months ago, but never quilted. Story of my life, but I finally got around to it. I decided to use a Chicago Bears backing, as my best friend is a huge Bears fan! I hope he will like it. I might even get a chance to spirit it away to him tomorrow! I decided to juxtapose purple thread against the earthtoned and gold quilt. I thought it would make it pop! Let’s hope it does!

After a week and a half of slaving over a hot sewing machine, I have managed to make this gorgeous quilt! I really hope the customer likes it! I went with blacks, greys, and charcoals to make the background and then golds and yellows for the Triforce and bird. I finished quilting it early this morning, but then had to run to work and then did some more work at a coffee shop with a crafting friend. I am tuckered out! So, here is the beautiful quilt!

As I have told everyone already, I got a commission on Etsy to do another Zelda themed quilt, and I’m super excited to say that it took me less an 1 day to make the top! I feel like a star! I started it at 2pm Yesterday and finished the top around 11am today. I think it looks quite nice! What about everyone else?
