The Last Zelda Commission

img_20171002_161045781.jpg

As you know, I had to give up commissions with my super busy schedule, however this last one slipped in before I stopped. I’m so happy the guy was such a good sport with it taking several months to complete. I’m very happy with how it turned out, and maybe someday in the near future, I’ll commit myself to doing a couple of these a year. I truly do love making them, but it’s the time. Time is an all-to-precious commodity for me these days.

Next on the docket, is binding a couple of baby quilts. Then I will be all caught up, and I can focus on my Anthems quilt! Wish me luck!

Zelda Scarves!

I have so much to tell you all about; it has been a crazy week. Work has been insane, but at the same time, I really don’t mind it! I get to play with fancy textile equipment all day every day! Who could complain about that? One thing I have been doing after work is playing with the machines! I knitted these gorgeous scarves! Now that it is cold, I figured everyone would adore these! What do you think?

Find them on Etsy here!

The Nerdy Things I Embroidered This Week…

Collage 11-9-15

While I’ve been quilting away on other projects, my embroidery machine has been working just as hard! So has my software! With this new software, I have quite a few more faculties available to me, and I can do quite a bit more than before.  I don’t quite have the time to really explore everything that it can do, but hopefully after the holidays I’ll have some time! Hopefully I’ll have some time before my Youtube channel officially launches so I can post a couple videos on that. Anyways, I’ve been stitching out quite a few things. Mostly for throw pillow cases, but also just to show myself how to make them, and what they’ll look like. So here are some pictures of the things I digitized after the jump! Continue reading

I’ve Been Busy Making Towels For Comic Con

Since I put in a bid to get a booth at the Northwest Indiana Comic-Con this year, I decided to start on my inventory. Now, I’ve designed some Harley Quinn, Creeper from Minecraft, Star Wars, and Legend of Zelda towels, but I think I’ll need more! Anyone have any suggestions about what they think would sell at a Comic Con? I already have some Doctor Who, Batman, and Superman Towels in the works, but I am open to suggestions. This is my first big show, and I really want to have everything people might want, so lay it on me…

Legend Of Zelda Hand Towels

I’ve been having fun with my new fancy embroidery machine! In fact, I’ve even had a few orders! Here is one of the first ones I got. I finally got around to making them, and now I can ship them out tomorrow morning! I even bought some nice green towels to try things out on! I’m so excited! Wish me luck!

Here is the listing on Etsy if you want to order one!

My Latest Zelda Quilt: Silver Triforce

This was the first time I was asked to do a silver Legend of Zelda Quilt. I absolutely love it! I think I need to make a throw size one for myself! I’ve been burning through commissions lately, in fact I have pictures of two other quilts that I haven’t even put up yet. One of these days I’ll catch up! Wish me luck!

Embroidering Some Legend Of Zelda Towels

I’ve been working like a dog the past few weeks, and I’m finally ready to start putting up some of these items for sale. I just put these Zelda bath towels on my Etsy page. I’m super excited. Next on the docket are some tea towels, and some bar towels… but first, I have a commission quilt to get started on! Wish me luck!
