I already made myself a set! Has anyone been watching Daredevil on Netflix? It’s amazing! I know critics said it was just okay, but I really dug this season! I’ve already re-watched it twice! If you haven’t seen it, you really should! It’s kind of funny, because every time I see Charlie Cox, I want him to be saving a falling star. You know? I’m also waiting for Sookie to show up. Just throwing that out there!
In case you want a set:
I know this isn’t sewing related, but I just needed to share the good news! Halt and Catch Fire is one of my favorite shows! I just love it, from the strong characters to the dysfunctional dynamic between all of them. When I found out that it was renewed, I was in such a good mood, that I ended up staying up way past my bedtime. At least I was productive during the insomnia, and I made about 6 Star Wars hand towels, so that was nice! I have 6 more to make tonight, and then 2 quilts all for the next couple of weeks. It’s time to get to work… and I do mean my day job, so I’ll sign off for now! Go watch some Halt and Catch Fire! It will be good for you!
Well, a friend of mine needed some extras for a craft show she is doing so I whipped up some towels between last night and this morning. I figured with all of those Star Wars designs I digitized, I should be able to slap them on some throw towels. I even made a large Darth Vader towel, just because I can… I’m not quite sure what else I can do with these Star Wars designs, but I’ll figure something out! I think I might embroider them out on some pillow shams! Wish me luck!
If you want to make your own Star Wars projects, the digitized patterns are available in my Etsy shop!

So, I finally got back into sewing. It no longer hurts to sit hunched over a sewing machine. (It’s very hard being 6’6″.) So, I was at work rifling through the latest Anita Goodesigns, and look what I found! Some adorable leaf patterns! The pattern is called rustic leaves, and it is just too cute not to make! Here is one tea towel, and I’m still working on the other one. I’ll post that one soon!
