I’ve got a couple of commissions in the works, and I decided that while I’m piecing like a mad man, I should have the embroidery machine running in the background. This is an Anita Goodesign called Indigo Quilt. While the design had specific instructions, I decided to go off the book and just make this quilt with scraps of denim and blue and black fabric, and then a red fabric for the sashing. It’s going to be gorgeous! With me luck!

Animal Sketches By Anita Goodesign!
I finally got this cute kid’s quilt done! I had the top sitting their forever and thought, it might be time to get cracking. I went for a random look with the blocks, and then decided on a simple lime green back, as well as lime green binding. I think it is just so cute. I’m not sure who to give it to though. I think it might end up on the bed in my guest room. It’s 84″ by 84″, so it’s like a mini-queen. Wish me luck!
Embroidered Feathers Pillow
I made a gorgeous pillow. I even used piping! That was a new experience for me, but I think it turned out well! Maybe I should do a tutorial on piping? It’s kind of confusing if you’ve never done it before. Anyways, I embroidered this pillow. It’s an Anita Goodesign from February. I think it turned out very well!
Working On An Embroidery Quilt
I’ve been working on these for a sample quilt for work. Since I can’t do much sewing because of the pain in my neck from the Bell’s Palsy, I’ve been doing some embroidery. I think these are just the cutest! I’ve done a couple on purple and yellow flannel, and it’s just as cute! I’ll be posting picture later this week.
Working On A Tiled Embroidery Wall-Hanging
I’ve been trying to put that embroidery machine to good use. This is the latest project I am teaching class on at the shop. I still have a couple of blocks to go, and then I still have to figure out the border… Thinking maybe an embroidered stippled block… not sure yet, but I’m working on it! With me luck!
Finished My On Point Autumn
I finally got around to finishing this gorgeous quilt! It is my first embroidery quilt, so I was nervous about how it would turn out. I actually thought it would be kind of bland, but it ended up so cute! I think the fabric choices I made turned out great! Now I have to get working on a Bargello, so I’ll be back later! Kisses!
Put The Border On ‘On Point Autumn’
It took me a while to figure out what I was going to do with it, but now that I have, I’m really excited to quilt it. I have a few other priority project going on at the moment, but this just might jump the queue a bit. It is just so much better than I thought it would be! Not sure how to quilt it though. Any suggestions?

On Point Autumn Quilt Half Embroidered
Okay, so while rummaging through the embroidery designs at work, I found this gem! I’ve been in a fall mood with the rustic leaves, and then I found this other design. I just had to make a quilt! So, I was thinking since it is on point I would do 3 blocks by 3 blocks, and put in some fun fall batiks on the off spaces and the border. What do you all think?
