We all know I love Mario, and pretty much any other 1990’s game. So now that I have the fancy technology (6D Software) and the fancy machine (My Lovely Ruby) it is time to get cracking on some new stuff! This was first on the docket, and now I’m going back to towels for a bit while I finish up this commission Legend of Zelda quilt! Wish me luck!

I did it! The last holiday quilt order is finished! Now I do have another quilt I have to work on, but I’m taking a couple of days off first. Maybe I’ll play with my serger, or work on my Pokeball quilt. We will see. Although tonight, I’m just going to snuggle up and watch tv from my bed.
Yes, I made this whole darn quilt top in a weekend. Yes I am very tired, and now I’m going to baste it and start quilting! Wish me luck!
I hate holiday shipping! I finally got the fabric though! I love the blues I got in the mail! I was a little worried they wouldn’t be saturated enough, but they are just so cute! A couple are even from Joann’s when I went a little out of control during the moonlight madness sale! Great way to use some of it up!
Just so no one thinks I’m slacking off I posted the picture of it finished on Christmas Eve morning, but I just didn’t get a chance to put it up on here. I used quite a bit of glow in the dark thread to do a tight stippling in the some of the tetris blocks, and then I also used the glow in the dark thread on one of the borders. I think it turned out marvelous!
I know I haven’t posted anything quilt related lately, but I’ve just been so busy. I just finished this the other night and I’m mailing it out today. Now tonight I have to make a Full size quilt top to mail out on Wednesday. Wish me luck!
I finished it! 3 More Quilts to go by Christmas! I started cutting the fabric for a throw size, so hopefully that will be done by Thursday, and then that leaves me 3 days for a quilt top, and a week for another queen size. I’m going to be running on empty and may not even set foot in my sewing room after the holidays for a bit. Wish me luck!
I basted and started quilting the Triforce quilt last night. I was going to do the background first, and then the bird and Triforce afterwards, but I was too tired, so I just did the bird and Triforce. I took about one third the time of doing the background, so I end up getting to bed around 3:30am. I have to work at 9:45, so I might be a little tired today, but it is totally worth it! I’ll finish quilting the background tonight, and if I’m luck I can bind it as well, then wash and mail it out on Friday.
Question for my quliter friends: Do you wash your quilts before you give them away?
One black down, and 3 to go. I really like the way this turned out. Next will be the great ball. Well, it might take me a while to finish. I have on the agenda for the weeks leading up to Christmas…

So, there you have it! My list of things to do in three weeks! I know I can, I’ll just have to not be social until after the holidays!
I posted the teaser earlier, and here it is. I still have to piece it together because I had to go to work this morning, but now that I am home, I’m going to put on some Jefferson Starship and rock out with my vintage singer. Hopefully I’ll have it pieced later tonight and I’ll post a picture of the finished block. Now to draw up designs for an Ultraball, Greatball, and Masterball. Wish me luck!
