Already On To My Next Project

I’m not quite ready to say what it is yet, because I don’t know how it is going to turn out, but I thought I would show everyone my fabric choices before I get to sewing! This is one of my largest projects to date, and I really hope it turns out well! I don;t think I’m going to sew tonight, but I will most likely start tomorrow morning! Tomorrow night I have to break camp on this project to quilt a quilt top someone sent me, so I’ll post that tomorrow too!

Finished The Quilt On My Zelda Commission!

I finished it last night about midnight and I was too lazy to set up lighting to take pictures. Instead I plopped down on my bed and watched a Netflix Movie until I fell asleep. Here are the pictures. For the quilting I ended up doing black and grey stippling on the background, and then yellow and orange stippling on the actual bird. I hope the client likes it! I’ll bind it later today! First though, I have to go and return a pair of shoes I ordered online. Damn things didn’t fit right! I swear, my shoe size goes from 13 Wide to 16 Narrow depending on the shoe!

The Binding Is On, And More Fabric Is Cut

I have officially finished everything for the Interlocking Column quilt. It turned out great! I’m trés in love with it, and soon I will have it washed and out of the dryer. I’ve already cut all of the squares for my next quilt and the piecing begins as soon as I go and shovel the driveway again! Wish me luck, and in the meantime fall head over heels for my latest completed quilt!

I’ve Got The Fabric Cut For My Next Quilt…

Thornton-20131214-01139

Kind of anyways. I had to dig around in my fabric bins looking for a little extra fabric in blacks and greys. Of course after I moved and organized everything today, I’ve lost everything as well! Haha. It took me almost an hour to find some I found suitable for blending into this quilt. I had half of it cut a few days ago, and now that I have all of the strips cut, I can start sewing strata! Tomorrow will be a very busy day!
