Working On Another Table Runner

I started work on a spring themed table runner at work. I really like the bright colors. If only it would stop snowing here in the Midwest, it might actually feel like spring. I’m doing the circles again, it reminds me of blowing bubbles when the weather is nice on a picnic. What kind of table runner should I do next? I really need to get a Designer Diamond Royale so I can do this at home!

Finsihed The Mario Throw Quilt

I did it! I finished the Mario themed throw quilt. Now I have to go and buy the fabric to make a Mario themed twin size quilt with a pillow sham. I’m so excited! I’m also buying a new machine soon, so I cannot wait to get started! I have to make a fabric run later today! I’m so excited to get back into sewing! The next one will include Luigi and the Red Mushroom! I cannot wait!

Finished The Table Runner

I finished the quilting on this beautiful table runner! I cannot wait to hang it at the store on Tuesday. I have Monday off, so hopefully I’ll get a little bit more quilting done soon! I just love this applique. I think I’m going to do one that is Solar System oriented next. I really like it Or, I can do something spring themed, and use the circles for flowers and flower pedals. We’ll see!

Working On A Table Runner

Now that I painted my kitchen a lovely shade of pistachio ice cream, I need to redecorate! I started this table runner at work last week, and hopefully I can finish the quilting on it tomorrow, so I can hang it up in the store for a couple on months before taking it home! I just love the embroidery features on the Designer Diamond Royale. I really, really, really want one! I did this with the build in applique tools on the machine design program, and now I cannot wait to finish it so I can stare at it! I really do need one of the embroidery machines at home. Imagine all of the work I could get done! It would be insane! Anyways, wish me luck on quilting this!

Someone Bought My Mario Quilt!

 

 

I’m so excited! I just re-opened my shop on Etsy, and someone has already purchased a quilt from me! I already have the top done, and now I just need to quilt it! I’m so excited for it! I think I’m going to do a dark grey thread and just stipple! I cannot wait to mail it out!

Crazy Quilt Pillow Almost Done

Here is an updated version of the crazy quilt pillow I am working on. It is for a co-workers birthday, and I really hope she likes it. It will be a sample in her store for a while and then she can take it home! I even going to be teaching a class on it soon! I can’t wait to put the back on and shove a pillow in it!
