So I just got the embroidery machine a week ago today, and I’m just madly in love with it. Someone digitized this design for me in exchange for a quilt pattern. Once I get the Viking Software I’m pining over, I’ll be able to do that myself and then I can embroider anything in the world! Next: Harry Potter Tea Towels!
I’ve been working on a Zelda Commission quilt, but as I’m sewing it, I’ve been embroidering in the background. It’s so nice to press a start button and walk away! Hahaha! So here are just a few samples of what I have done so far! What do you all think?

I just bought a new Embroidery Machine, but I’ll talk about that later. I’ve been breaking in the machine with some Legend of Zelda designs! Okay, well, one design, but I did it in a bunch of fun colors! What do you guys think?
I know I haven’t posted lately. I’ve just been kind of under the weather, and a little overwhelmed lately, but I’m getting back on the quilting horse. I’ve been cutting fabric like crazy for a list of commission projects that is just expanding by the minute. Here is the fabric cut for the latest Zelda quilt, with a quite a bit extra thrown in for the next one as well. Wish me luck!
It took me long enough, but I just finished these adorable pillows! I can’t wait to get them in the mail tomorrow! Now onto a Zelda quilt in shades of green! Wish me luck!
So, for Toad I had to make up his dimensions since his character is not on the 16 by 16 grid, so I did a angles view. What does everyone think? I’m going to quilt these into throw pillows really quickly and I just can’t wait!
I don’t even know how to explain this project. It’s just kind of one of those things that I couldn’t help but make. I just thought it was verging on too ironic with the gothic lettering, and just it’s all around strangeness. I think some people take embroidery too seriously and they forget they can do fun and weird things with it!
‘Tis the season to get some really nice Christmas fabric on sale! For this Christmas, I really want to get a head start on my projects! I’m thinking table runner and place-mats will be really pic sellers so I have to get to work!
I’m not going to lie: I’m in love with table runners! It’s like a little baby quilt you can make in one day. Well, almost one day. Haha. I did this embroidery design I got from work called Serenity Garden. It had some very cute designs on it. I also got this fabric that has a metallic sheen to it, but doesn’t have a metallic feel. I really like it. I have it in green, navy, red, brown, and olive. It’s quite nice! I think it is by Timeless Treasures. I think….
I know I haven’t posted much lately. I’ve just been running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Working extra hours at my day job, and then I started to clean my sewing room. Now I’m starting some throw pillows, trying to find room for my new cutting table, working on some new fun sewing projects for my day job, and just being an all around bad ass quilter. I also marathoned all 8 Harry Potter movies the other day… That was rather intense…
