Something Wicked This Way Comes…

As the phrase goes “There is no rest for the wicked.” So, as you all can imagine, I’m very busy. 🙂

Now that I have access to the internet again, I can get back on a regular schedule for my posts, and I need your help! That’s right! You! Tell me what you want! What you really really want. I would like to know what my readers want me to do. Do you want more tips and tricks, tutorials, quilting projects, or more pieces like ‘Confessions of a Quilt-aholic.’? Let me know, and I’ll make it happen, but for the time being the upcoming schedule is looking something like…

Sunday : E-cards and Sewing tips, tricks, and secrets

Monday: Confessions of a Quilt-aholic

Tuesday: Sewing Tutorial

Wednesday: Quilter Ramblings (That’s new)

Thursday: My Quilting Patterns

Friday: Product Reviews

Saturday: Dealers Choice (aka… whatever I feel like!)

A posting schedule? Help! Some of us are lucky to post once a week. 🙂 I love reading your “confessions” — so many of us feel the same way you do, we just don’t have the nerve to tell others. I can really identify with the “I want you to want me” feeling. If someone isn’t really enthusiastic about a quilt I’ve given them, I tend to get depressed. Over time I’ve learned to try to steel myself a bit when I give someone a quilt. But some people have surprised me: I almost couldn’t bear to give my father-in-law his quilt, because I was sure he wouldn’t like it or not say anything. Instead, he told everyone at the dinner table (the entire family) “This is what you are burying me in.” Coming from him, that was the highest compliment I could have received!
