Omigosh! That appointment for my Psychiatrist was much longer than I had expected it to be, and my whole afternoon was shot! I got home around 4:00 and made some dinner. (I heated up some left over gyros.) I right away jumped on my machine and finished this beast of a quilt! I love the way it turned out, and later tonight, I will put on the binding! First, I suppose I should find a binding to put on it… To the Fabric Bins! Huzzah!

I want so badly to learn to machine quilt. I have hand issues that are preventing me from handquilting and I don’t see an end in site. I can’t seem to relax as I work and my quilting gets smaller and smaller as I go. I have a mixed block top I made up and the quilting ended up so tight that I can’t even pick it out and I love the top. Do you have any suggestions? I am up for anything. I was so frustrated after the last try it has been years since then and the tops are stacking up!!!!
I understand. I have nerve damage in both of my hands, and doing hand sewing can become rather painful, so I just quilt on my machine. Have you ever tried using a hopping foot to quilt on your machine with?
