I’ve been working on this for the last 2 days on and off. There is fabric glue involved so I only do a little at a time and let it dry between sessions. It’s a nice break from the other sewing I’m doing. I can;t wait to see what it looks like finished! I canlt wait to finish it so I can teach the class on it at the shop I work at! Wish me luck!

Made Some Progress On Carzy Quilt #3
I was up late last night working on this tedious beautiful quilt. I love doing crazy quilts, but they take so long to do! I mean, I can work around the puckering of the fabric because of the decorative stitches, but the rub is doing all of these decorative stitches. It is a nice way to use up some thread I didn’t have enough of to do whole projects with at least. At least it is great for mindless sewing work to watch TV during! Speaking of TV, did anyone watch this week’s True Blood??? I think it is starting to get good, and it is about time!

Working On My Third Crazy Quilt
I’m spending my day off working on my crazy quilt for the class I am teaching. I’m currently adding in different strips of color to add size and to add some variety of the rainbow to it. I’m really glad I added that gold to it, it really makes it pop quite a bit! Now to cut and sew in all different directions for the rest of the afternoon! Wish me luck! Maybe I’ll take a break an make a throw pillow at some point!
My Crazy Quilt Class Is Coming Along
Working On The T-Shirt Quilt
I did quite a bit of work on the T-shirt quilt I am in the middle of. I decided to do a little bit of thread embellishment just to add a little something something. I think it is turning out quite nicely. I ended up using fusible stabilizer and it is working great. I’m still using a walking foot, but it is going very nice!
I Got Another Machine – It’s My First Kenmore
I picked this up at Goodwill for 15 dollars! It was way work it! The zig zag stitch is just luscious! IT just sews so smoothly! It’s not the best at winding bobbins, but I have so many other machines I can wind bobbins on, so I’m not that concerned. It is a nice heavy duty machine! I got it for the satin stitch, since I’m making so many fabric bowls now, I wanted something that I could use for hours! I just love it! I’m also super happy it is a low shank machine so I don’t need any new attachments! I’m going to get sewing on it! Wish me luck!
