I was thinking about this the other day… How nice would it be to have a modern quilt guild in Northwest Indiana? Personally my quilts are kind of a mixed back of traditional and modern work, but it all would be welcome here. Anyone interested in helping? Let me know!

I Started Working On A Modern Bargello
I’m teaching a class at work on how to make a bargello quilt! I’ve done one before, and now I’m making a very modern looking one with some very gorgeous fabrics! I can’t wait to cut my strips later tonight! Although, I’m wondering if I should do something even more modern with different size strips, or if I should just stick with the same size strips… We’ll see!
Working On My Latest Crazy Quilt
I finally got back to work on this beautiful piece of color atrocity! I just love it! It is just so bright and annoying! I’m not sure how large I am going to make it, but I’m thinking I’ll make it a larger size throw quilt. Maybe 70″ by 70″. Just a thought! I’ve still got to add a few more embellishments to it. Any idea what else I can add to it?
