As I said earlier in a post, I did quite a few random quilt designs while in the hospital. I decided to take a break from sewing and to throw this design onto paint to see how it would look. It still needs some work. I might modify the 9 patch blocks to make the ripples appear rounder. I’m not quite sure yet. It is supposed to be a pebble being skipped across the water, so I would do dark blue and indigo fabrics for the dark water, light blue for the ripples, and then applique a pebble in the one corner. What does everyone think? Try to ignore the obvious grid.
