Happy Pride!

Since I didn’t make it to pride this weekend, I felt I needed to do something! I made this top while working in my basement. I wanted to go, but it was too hot to be out there while I’m still sick and with an ear infection, but next year nothing is going to stop me. I still have to add some borders and then figure how I’m going to quilt it. I really like it! Hopefully I’ll quilt it soon! Wish me luck!

Hope everyone who went to pride had a fun time! I was there is spirit, but also watching Sense8 while in my basement sewing!I think Sense8 was a good choice to watch sine I’m staying in on Pride.

Remember to always love yourself! Here’s to love!

Equality Quilt: The Blocks Are Getting Pieced!

After work today I can right home and started to sew! I’m about half way done sewing the blocks together and I’ll have it pinned later tonight. I’m really loving the way it’s turning out. Tomorrow when there is better light, I’ll take more pictures. I cannot wait for it to be light after 6pm: waiting for spring!

Equal Sign Block

By popular demand, I have decided to post the block design for the Marriage Equality Quilt I did. I have about 10 requests for it, so I hope everyone enjoys it! It is quite simple really, just 7 strips of fabric, and you have a gorgeous quilt block that you can do many things with. I’m even thinking about using it again, but rotating every other block by 90 degrees. I feel like it would add some fun texture to a quilt top!
