Working on My First Zelda Quilt Top
It was made some months ago, but never quilted. Story of my life, but I finally got around to it. I decided to use a Chicago Bears backing, as my best friend is a huge Bears fan! I hope he will like it. I might even get a chance to spirit it away to him tomorrow! I decided to juxtapose purple thread against the earthtoned and gold quilt. I thought it would make it pop! Let’s hope it does!

Drawing Up Patterns!
I wanted to be sewing today, but after a very ‘fun’ conversation with the person I live with., I am too exhausted to do anything that is highly productive. Instead I decided to watch the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy and draw up some quilt sketches from the inspirational pictures I found! I think I’m coming up with some beauties here! These are obviously rough drafts and will put them on graph paper later!

Hell, I might even throw on some cheap mascara and then cry, just so it drips down my face for emphasis! I mean, it’s so ugly it offends all of my senses, including taste and smell! I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all, but come on people! Continue reading
