This took almost all evening yesterday, but I got it all done… Well, the quilt top is done anyway. Maybe, if I feel fancy tonight I’ll quilt it, but I’m thinking my sinuses are killing me, so Criminal Minds and plenty of rest are on my agenda. Anyways, let’s get back to the baby quilt. I’m debating on whether or not I want to put a solid border on it…. What do you think?

I Chose A Border!
I chose a border for my pinwheel quilt!
I decided to add a Pansy border that is 1.5 inches, and then a 4.5 inch brown border, and I’m not quite sure on the binding yet. I’m tore between the pansy fabric for a binding, or possibly black for simplicity. I’m not quite sure yet, but perhaps I’ll figure it out soon. I’m thinking about quilting it today as a surprise for my roommate when she gets home from work later. We’ll see!

How Large of a Border Should I Add?
Now that I am finished with the body of this wall hanging quilt, I just need to know what kind of border to add to it. I was thinking the same pansy print fabric that is in the quilt, but I’m not sure. I also can’t seem to make up my mind on how wide of a border. Any suggestions?

Picked A Border For Miss A’s Quilt
As everyone knows, I did the body of the quilt 2 days ago. Since then I have had a hard time picking out what color to do for the border. At first, I wanted something that would tie in with the colors already in the quilt. Then I thought I really didn’t want something to take away from the center, so I had to scratch that idea. Then I thought I might do black, but then I remembered it was for a toddler, so maybe stay away from the black. Then I thought about doing this smokey violet, and I fell in love! I hope that everyone else likes it as much as I do
