Quilting And Craft Community… Lend Me Your Ears

Hello Lovely People,

I need your help! Once a week I want to focus an Etsy Shop on my blog! I want it to be craft or quilt related, and I want it to be somewhat established. Now, don’t worry if you haven’t sold anything, I just want it to have a few items, and maybe a few followers. Heck, even if it isn’t established, but it has some great stuff, just let me know, and I’ll add it to my list. I do want to make this either a weekly spotlight, or if I have enough of a response, I want to do it twice a week.

Back From My Long Weekend!

I spent my weekend having a sort of artists retreat from the world! I also had a date, so I took a break from quilting and sewing, but now I am back full force! I recently sold a quilt from my ETSY shop, and later tonight, I will start picking out fabric and possibly even cutting it! I’m in a great mood, and I hope everyone else is enjoying their Monday as much as I am! Much love to all of my readers!

I’ll post updates soon!

Meet One Of My Blogging Friends!

Okay, so one of my favorite new blogs to read is Ray’s Sew Crafty!

Diana

Here is a little bit she wrote about herself!
My name’s Diana and I’m an enthusiastic crafter! I’m currently learning how to quilt, but I hope to blog about many crafts : quilting, sewing, knitting, cross-stitching, needlepoint, scrapbooking, no-sew blankets. I’m always trying to keep busy, learn new ins and meet new people with my same interests! Any age , experience and background welcome!! I hope that my blog can help you in putting a craft together and also give you an insight as to how I progress in my own projects! 🙂
Toodles for now,

Fixing a Dress

so, my roommate has a bachelorette party to go to this weekend, and the theme is Little Black Dress.  MY roommate ordered her dress online and when it arrived, it had 2 holes in it! I mean, come on! She just bought it, and it already had two holes in it. So, I spent my night evening fixing it. It was a manufacturer error. The serger slipped and at points never connected to the elastic that causes the ruching. So, I had to tear the seam out a few inches to make it flush with the rest. And here it is finished!

First Block Done For K and J Quilt

after slaving all night over a hot sewing machine, I have finished quite a bit. I have the center blocks done for a few blocks, and the borders done for 5 and 1 complete block as of 9AM! It took quite a while for me to settle on something I liked, and I’m glad I found this!
