I did it! I finished the Mario themed throw quilt. Now I have to go and buy the fabric to make a Mario themed twin size quilt with a pillow sham. I’m so excited! I’m also buying a new machine soon, so I cannot wait to get started! I have to make a fabric run later today! I’m so excited to get back into sewing! The next one will include Luigi and the Red Mushroom! I cannot wait!

This looks so fun! I was thinking about how fun it might be to use a long arm quilting machine to quilt entire Mario levels across a quilt. I’m not sure if that make sense, but like do line drawings from start to the flag and the castle across the width of the quilt!
OMG this quilt is amazing! I don’t know why I never thought of using 8-bit characters for quilts because the square pixels make it so obvious, but I aboslutely LOVE this idea! Fantastic job, fantastic quilt!!! 🙂
