The queen size quilt pattern for my Frozen Star quilt is now on Etsy!
Check it out!
So, I’m tragically in love with this quilt, and it has to leave my possession as soon as I quilt it, which is sad, but I’m happy it will be in a good home! The border really brings out the quilt pattern and I’m really digging it! I like the colors, and it makes me want to replicate one for myself, but unfortunately it is not on my list of top 5 quilts I want for myself, so it could be years before I do it for myself. We shall see though! I’m feeling rather inspired!

It has been listed on Etsy! I just finished the pattern or a twin size Zelda quilt!
I’ve been working on this all weekend! Okay, maybe like for an hour or two yesterday, and then 4 hours today. I also made out some Christmas cards, and finished up the pattern to sell it once I am done with the quilt itself. I’ve also been slaving over Christmas cards. All 6 of them. Haha! No, seriously I’ve done over 25 of them, and then I have to Christmas ones to send out to my previous clients on Etsy and send them a coupon along with their holiday card. However, I did finish the top of this quilt, and later tonight I will put on the border. I’m not quite sure what kind of border I’ll put on, but I have some ideas!

I recently got a commission where a woman dropped off 7 yards of fabric, and said she wanted a queen size quilt. I thought, that it would be cutting it close, and sure enough it is. It will be 85 by 90 inches, and barely making the queen cut off. I was up late last night working on a design, and I got one I like! I’ll post the progress that I’ve made later today, but here are the fabrics she got me.
I woke up late, which is no surprise considering I was up until 5am working on a pattern for a commission. Well, as soon as I woke up, I needed to run some errands. I didn’t have time to eat breakfast, so right now I’m eating a croissant and some hummus I bought at the grocery store. So as I sit here in the parking lot, I can only assume that this is indeed the breakfast of champions!
My cousin Valarie teaches art to high school students, and one of the projects she had them do was postcard art. You just relay a message via a post card. I think it is an amazing idea, and here is her Tumblr for it! I think everyone should be checking it out!
I just wanted to share this. I think a lot of people will find it interesting.
